The Pie Yard, Cambridge
Hot pies, cold drinks and plenty of room to settle in. Smith’s Pie Yard is our relaxed outdoor home in Cambridge. Handmade pies, local beers, wine, lawn games, shade, a sandpit for the kids and a fully fenced yard for dogs and runaway toddlers.

Everything is made by hand in our factory out back, with beef, chicken, pork, vegetarian, vegan and scallop pies, plus sweet pies and treats.
Grab a hot pie, crack a local beer, wine or softy, and find a spot on the lawn. There’s shade under the trees, umbrellas, lawn games, a sandpit for the kids and a fully fenced yard for dogs and small escape artists. And yes, the dogs have their own beer.
Takeaway is always an option too, check our warmer for hot hand-held pies and out the back we stock our full range of cold family-size pies to take home for later.
Functions at the Pie Yard
Bring the cake. We’ll handle the pies.
Birthdays, bucks, hens, kids’ parties, Christmas catch-ups, wedding recoveries - whatever you’re celebrating, the Pie Yard makes a pretty easy party spot.
Bring a picnic blanket, balloons and a cake, then let everyone choose their own pie - instead of trying to please that one person who you never can.
The yard is fully fenced, so the kids can run loose while the grown-ups settle in with a local beer or wine. No BYO alcohol, but we’ll make sure your favourite drinks are cold.
All we ask is that you let us know you’re coming, so we can have enough hot pies ready and plenty in the fridge.
